5 STAR MIX
5 Star Mix is a perennial mix including Rhodes Grass, Smutsfinger Grass, Aries II, MG-4 and MG-5. It is a good all-round perennial mixture suited to most conditions. It has a high drought tolerance, good digestibility, good palatability and delivers good yields. It is better than the 4 Game Mix because it has the added benefit of MG-5, which has good seed production, good yields, good waterlogging tolerance and excellent drought resistance. The 5 Star Mix is suitable for Game, Sheep, Goats and Cattle. It can be used for direct grazing and hay-making.
White Buffalo Grass
White Buffalo Grass (Panicum maximum spp.) is a palatable and digestible perennial forage grass with tussocks. The main characteristic of this species is its good regrowth capacity after grazing. It is well received by cattle, game, horses, sheep and goats.
Smuts Finger Grass
Smutsfinger Grass is a summer perennial forage grass. It is very palatable. Suitable for hay-making and silage. It is very drought resistant and can grow in most soil types. It is good for soil cover and erosion control.
