Cocksfoot is a tufted long-lived perennial. It is suitable for grazing, hay-making and silage. It is very resistant to cold and drought. It can withstand heavy grazing. It has very deep roots, thereby combating soil erosion.
Tall Fescue
Tall Fescue is a perennial grass with a bunch-forming growth habit. It is tolerant to heavy grazing. It provides good erosion control. It extracts some heavy metals from the soil and helps to restore polluted soil.
