Tanzania, also known as White Buffalo, Witbuffel or Wit buffel, is a tropical perennial forage grass with high demands in soil fertility. It has a high dry matter production. It is well accepted by a variety of grazing animals. Cattle consistently show a greater weight gain when grazing on Tanzania, in comparison to other Panicum species. It can be used for grazing or for silage. It requires good management and fertilization to reach its full potential.
